I first came across Carrie Clevenger‘s work 12 months ago through contacts in social media and writer’s groups. Mainly recommendations caused me to read Clevenger’s work, then she drew me in with words and imagination. The characters were strong, the scenes well written. Since then, I have been a follower of hers.
When I discovered there was a novella – a teaser for the novel to come – based around her creation of Xan Marcelles and Crooked Fang, I just knew I had to have it.
