Award-winning writer, editor and publisher, Jodi Cleghorn, is stopping at A Reader’s Heaven, a local Lithgow bookshop on Tuesday morning. Ms Cleghorn will stop in Lithgow after attending Conflux 8 Speculative Fiction Convention in Canberra where she will launch her newest anthology ‘From Stage Door Shadows‘.
Jodi Cleghorn will be leading several workshops at the conference this weekend, along side writers like Jack Dann, Keri Arthur, and Keith Stevenson.
She is the founding publisher of eMergent Publishing as well as editor of the Literary Mix Tapes and Chinese Whisperings anthologies. Her passion for community building and emerging writers is the driving force behind eMergent projects like the charity anthology ‘100 Stories for Queensland‘ as well as ongoing commitments to Friday Flash and ‘Vine Leaves Literary Journal‘.
Jodi Cleghorn won the Kris Hembury Encouragement Award for Emerging Artist in 2011 offered through Fantastic Queensland.
Jodi Cleghorn will be featured at Ironfest 2013, but readers can get a sneak peek of her new book at A Reader’s Heaven, 35 Main Street Lithgow, on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 9.45am until approx. 11.00am. Ms. Cleghorn will be in the shop to meet readers, read from her new book, and sign copies.
